The MFV15H is an impressive design inspired by the famous TAD 2402 driver — a replica able to fill even the largest rooms with a huge, tangible soundstage, and that at modest amplifier power. It is the ideal partner for valve amplifiers, especially low-power single-ended designs.
At the heart of the loudspeaker is a 15-inch woofer complemented by a 5-inch horn pressure drive. The horn housing is made — as in the original — of plywood, and the high-pass filter is potted in resin to minimise vibration. The result is high efficiency, dynamics and a huge, open space.
These are loudspeakers for listeners who seek the realism and scale of sound found in the best stage and studio designs — in a home, audiophile form.
